Because I left my Bullet Journal in the office, I had a hard time figuring out how my October 2016 went. Having a handy notebook, specifically a Bullet Journal, is indeed a very helpful tool if you want to track the memories and experiences happening in your life.
Anyway, thanks to Facebook, I tracked all the highlights for my October 2016! I thought this month just went by without really making a big impact of what I want to do with my life before 2016 ends but to my surprise, many unexpected things happen.
The last time I wrote a recap was August 2016. It’s sad that I wasn’t able to write my September memories. Hope I can track it again so I can share with you since September had been full of memories.
So, here are the highlights of my October 2016!
October has blessed me with wonderful memories and I would like to share these all with you. 🙂
1. Staycation at Exchange Regency with the Business Development Girls aka #BDGirls of TravelBook.ph
We are seven in our department and we are all girls. Yes, girl power!
Thanks to TravelBook.ph’s monthly team budget, we spent a night at The Exchange Regency in Ortigas and really had a great time!
We cooked our dinner and breakfast, talked about life, played games, and just enjoyed the company of each other which strengthened the team. The team made rules as well – no laptops, smartphones, and even talking about work is a no-no! Haha!
From L-R: Toni, Liway, Pia
Not really good with flatlay. Haha!
We also celebrated Ate Liway’s birthday!
2. Date with Mr. M.
My boyfriend is currently in Pampanga and we see each other just twice or thrice in a month. Last month, because of the busy schedule, we only met once at SM Pampanga and watched movies, ate lunch together, and just roamed around the mall.
Sorry for the big face! 😉
3. Dates with Mother
Above anything else, this is my favorite (and will always be my favorite)!
I wasn’t able to count the times we went out last month but October has blessed me with many happy memories with Mother.
Roamed around SM Megamall
Has so much eating sessions here on our favorite home restaurant in Pasig, Crisgard. This only costs as P140 with two cups of rice.
She also accompanied me to one of my food reviews in Kapitolyo, Pasig. Thanks, Ramencool!
Mother with her ‘Gutom na ako. Kain na tayo, please.’ smile! Haha.
4. Catch up with friends!
Ate Meden: This pretty woman is a colleague of mine back when I was still working at Robinsons Land Corporation. She has been my confidante, and we clicked in so many things! After three years or more, we went out last month and watch “Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend”! We talked about her work, and love life of course, and her not-so-baby-girl anymore – Kirsten!
So happy we got the chance to bond again. Love you, Ate Meds!
Maco: Maco is one of my best friends since college. We see each other not so often but last month, we roamed around Shangrila Plaza Mall, went to the east wing, pretended we just came from the faraway land and took some crazy videos! We really had a night full of laughter. If I can only let you see our videos.. Haha!
Angelic: My other best friend, Angelic, just had her birthday last October 16 ~ Happy 26th birthday! ~ and because I was not around on her special day, I made sure to meet her on her birthday week. We shared stories over dinner and was really happy to know that she is doing really well. Love you, Ate!
5. TravelBook.ph’s Halloween Party
As far as I know, this is the first time TravelBook.ph held a Halloween Party. Before, when TravelBook is still part of Summit Media, we celebrate Halloween with a number of activities on their office.
So happy that we have our very own Halloween Party now! Our department’s theme is Harry Potter and we designed our area the best that we can. We didn’t win anything but I’m happy that everyone had a great time.
7. I Love Masbate Unexplored Islands Album
Last October 9, 2016, I posted an album on I Love Masbate facebook page about the provinces’ unexplored islands. So happy that it got around 5,600 shares on facebook! Ever since, my goals for this page is to raise awareness that Masbate also has wonderful and amazing beach destinations that everyone should explore.
9. Lazada Online Revolution: Find Joy in a Box
Lazada Philippines invited me on their Online Revolution 2016 road show launch in Makati. It was a night full of surprises and excitement with their ‘Find Joy in a Box’.
Wanna know what’s inside the box?
Won a watch in the raffle!
10. TravelBook.ph’s Blogger Get Together at The Legend Villas
Of course, one of my October highlights is TravelBook.ph’s Blogger Get Together at The Legend Villas! It’s a day full of fun and excitement for our blogger affiliates as we get to know them and have fun with them.
Together with the affiliate bloggers, we toured The Legend Villas and end our program with a delicious buffet lunch by the pool!

11. Google Adsense Payout
Last, but definitely not the least, I was able to get my payment from Google Adsense! So happy!
